Spindle assembly #918-0142A / 918-0138, Our Part #9288, is a new style housing X assembly without a pulley. This spindle assembly fits 38 inch and 42 inch mower decks with six point star hole blades.
This model is used on all MTD product lines from 1998 to present. If you would like to purchase the pulley, please reference Our Part #9587 for 42 inch mower decks and Our Part #9588 for 38 inch mower decks.
MTD Right and center spindle assembly SOLD without pulley, also fits left spindle for 600 series decks. For 46-inch cut with star hole blades from 1998-2000 and uses single pulley. 600 Series decks use 3 of these units and have the double stack pulley mounted to the deck. 800 Series mowers use 2 of these and one Our Part# 9287 that uses a double stack pulley.
